8km 1-3hours / Easy/ Moderate

This Coilte forestry trek, which is located in the Centre of the beautiful Inagh Valley, offers a lot. Views of the Maumturk Mountains, the Twelve Bens, and the mountains of south County Mayo are available from every angle. The remnants of an ancient settlement is a highlight along this trail.

7.5km 1-3hours / Easy / Moderate

This looped cycle/walk  follows a forest road and footpath through mixed woodland and along the shore of picturesque Lough Mask.  Crossing the Clonbur River and overlooking the beautiful views of the lake while seeing some of the numerous islands in the Lough and the remarkable limestone pavement geology.

8+ Kilometres: 1.5+ hours. Easy/Moderate

Starting in recess off the N59 this Coillte forestry trail is  perfectly suited for family and leisure cycling. These trails are completely traffic-free, these trails are best used with a hybrid or mountain bike with slightly wider tyres than road bikes.

16+ Kilometres: 1.5+ hours. Easy/Moderate

With massive views north to Maam valley and west to the Twelve Bens. Derroura offers you some incredible mountain biking in some of the most spectacular scenery in Connemara. You will face long climbs and thrilling descents with great views overlooking the entire of Lough Corrib.

 

48km 1 - 3+hours. Easy/Moderate

All ages can enjoy the walking and cycling pathways on the Galway Wind Walk Way. Six routes spanning 48 km are available to visitors, ranging from strenuous pathways for experienced explorers to easy routes suitable for recreational riders.
